JULY - AUGUST

Pop Warner 2025 Youth Football and Cheer season begins July 15th, 2025 this year, earlier than previous years. Union Rams Football practices are being held Monday through Friday nights 6pm-8pm at Rabkin Park in Union, NJ beginning on Tuesday, July 15th. *Note: Football requires 10 hours of conditioning before being eligible to have contact in equipment. Union Rams Cheer practices are being held 6pm-8pm at Rabkin Park in Union, NJ beginning on Monday, August 4th. Cheerleaders can show up for pre-season conditioning training & registration every TUESDAY at 6pm in June & July until the Rams cheer season officially begins in August.

SEPTEMBER - OCTOBER

Once Union Township schools are back in session in September, practices are held three times a week 6-8p at Rabkin Park. During cheer competition season, cheerleaders also practice at the UHS gym. The first game is usually the last Sunday of August with a regular season of 8 games per level, weekly on Sundays. Depending on how the teams perform, the Regional Playoffs follow or there is an opportunity to participate in Bowl games or Garden State games, if qualified. North Jersey Pop Warner District Cheer competition is on Sunday, October 12th in Elizabeth, NJ. Depending on how cheer teams perform, they may advance to Regionals in late October/early November. **Required documents which must be provided to register for both football and cheer are an original birth certificate, current wallet size color photo, Final June 2025 report card, and a medical parent consent form.
